Blog Archives

Beginning in the very early 1990’s, whenever I took a photo trip, a handwritten journal was kept (currently stored in a mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnall’s back porch), as a kind of diary to recall the trip, and any photographic information about the locations. These continued to be handwritten until 2014 when they began to be typed on an iPad and the internet blog posts began, whose purpose was simply a way to chronicle a month-long photographic trip through the American southwest, and allow family and friends to follow along on the adventure of living out of a rented SUV in some of the more remote places in the country. They continued thru the years as a chronological history of the experiences on those trips as the list of locations visited grew.

Since this site’s main purpose is to access the portfolios, blogs, and other media in a single location, no blog posts actually reside on this site. However, the links below allow visitors to seamlessly navigate to access those on different sites dating back to the very first in the fall of 2014, up to just before this site went live. If interested, the handwritten journals are still available for review from the back porch mentioned earlier.
